Membership
One membership per person, the same whether you work alone or in a team.
- $15 of AI usage allowance every month
- A workspace of your own with your first membership
- The web client, and the Mac app download
- Join other members' workspaces when invited
Credits
Add credits to your own balance, or to a workspace's pool if you own or administer it.
- Credits never expire
- Used only after the month's allowance is spent
Sponsored seats
A workspace owner may sponsor other members of the workspace.
- Each seat adds $15 of allowance to the workspace's shared pool
- One subscription and one invoice for all seats
- Adding or removing a seat is prorated by Stripe
How the allowance works
- The AI work you ask for (agents, transcription, speech) is measured as it happens and charged against a balance: this month's allowance first, then your credits.
- An unspent allowance does not carry over to the next month. Credits do.
- When the allowance and the credits are used up, new AI work stops until the next month's allowance arrives or you add credits. You are not charged for overage.
- In a workspace that sponsors you, your work is paid from the workspace's pool first, then (if you leave the switch on) from your own balance. Your own projects are always paid from your own membership.
- A seat added or a membership started part-way through a month brings its whole allowance at once.
Renewal
A membership and a sponsorship are monthly subscriptions, billed through Stripe. They renew automatically every month, on the day the subscription started, until cancelled. If a payment fails, Stripe retries the card; while it retries, the allowance stays available.
Cancellation
- You can cancel a membership at any time by writing to hello@codonhq.com from the email address of your account. The membership then ends at the end of the month you have already paid for, and it does not renew.
- A workspace owner ends a sponsored seat by removing it on the workspace's billing page; removing the last seat cancels the sponsorship.
- Deleting your account (“Delete my account” in your account settings) ends your membership immediately, and any sponsorship you pay for.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable. That includes memberships, sponsored seats and credits, a cancellation part-way through a month, unused allowance or credits, and the deletion of your account, except where the law requires a refund. See section 11 of the Terms of Service.
